PERSONAL MESSAGE :

Vampire Facial is also known as Dracula Facial, its mainly famous among the women and now slowly trending among the men as well.

The main reason why people would like to take this treatment to look younger and rejuvenate their face. This something like Plastic Surgery but an alternative rather, In this case, they actually take YOUR OWN blood

If we have to just google this term or well search in youtube, you would actually get thousands of contents and video about the same.

In this procedure, they take you blood, then take your platelets, WBC and RBC separately. Then they take the RBC and apply and inject into your face skin using special injection and needles.

And now they even have Facial Cream as well of the same concept which is made of 2 things (your own blood and cat's blood) and you can't use this cream after 3 months of produce, because it contains actual blood.

During our childhood we have come across many cartoon and stories about witches who eat or drink or consume things which would convert them to youthful looking person.

There have been many movies and cartoons introducing this technology and concept way before it actually being discovered and made own.

This is treatment which we have to take up often after regular intervals just the way we have seen in movies and cartoons and this definitely is an expensive treatment.

This definitely isn't the will of God, God has blessed us. He has made us in His image, he knew where, what, who and how we are way before we were born.

These are rather against the will and ways on Devil into our lives.

Extreme anti-ageing treatment loved by celebs

such as Kim Kardashian, Bar Refaeli and Ferne McCann etc...

The cosmetic procedure, which has been nicknamed the 'vampire facial', was made famous by Kim Kardashian. But what is it and how does it work?

What is a vampire facial?

The 'proper' name for a vampire facial is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy.

It's essentially a regenerative therapy, which uses nothing but the patient's own blood.

Platelets are tiny blood cells which play a crucial part in helping the body stop bleeding - as well as repairing damaged blood vessels and cells.

You could think of them as little powerhouses, which release proteins for growth when they come in contact with the body's tissue.

In PRP, a needle is used to draw blood from the client's arm. The blood is then spun in a machine, to remove the platelets.

The plasma from the blood is extracted, and spattered on the client's face using tiny acupuncture-style needles to rejuvenate their face.

Those promoting PRP say it should:

  • Improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars and stretch marks

  • Rejuvenate the under-eye area

  • Tighten stubborn open poors

  • Plump and volumise any area (e.g. cheeks) where someone might otherwise gets fillers.

Are vampire facials painful and are they safe?

Before any needles are injected, a local anaesthetic cream is applied to the face.

This should make the treatment relatively painless, although clients should expect any injections made directly into the lip border to hurt a bit.

Possible side-effects include puffy looking skin, mild itchiness for a day or two, and bruising around the eyes.

According to Illuminate Skin Clinic: "Bruising is reasonably common around the eyes.

"This is because the under-eye area is very rich in small blood vessels and it is virtually impossible to avoid them."

In July 2013, Kerry Katona added the vampire to her extensive list of cosmetic treatments and plastic surgery.

Unlike other stars, Kerry had a nasty reaction to the treatment - which left her with a bloated face and puffy cheeks.

She told the Daily Mirror: “I didn’t want to fall asleep because I was scared I would never wake up. My face was swelling so much I didn’t recognise myself.”

How much do vampire facials cost?

Vampire facials cost around £750 - and people don't normally see results for three to four weeks.

Those over the age of 40 are recommended to have three treatments, spaced four to six weeks apart, while younger clients may only need one.

The treatment takes around an hour and a half, and clients are advised to have a maintenance treatment one year later.

Which celebs have had vampire facials?

TOWIE babe Ferne McCann is the latest star to invest in a vampire facial, after going under the knife for a nose job in August 2016.Despite being just 25 years old, Ferne said: "I definitely worry about ageing."I'm moving in to my late 20s this year, so ageing is something that plays on my mind. You just have to take care of your skin."She added: "Because of the anaesthetic, you feel hardly anything. It's a really good feeling. It feels like it's going to make you look amazing and do wonders to the skin."Stunning Israeli model Bar Rafaeli, 31, has also had the treatment - ahead of her appearance on X Factor Israel.Bar is also a fan of the liquid gold facial, a £400 treatment in which 24k liquid gold is smothered on someone's face in a bid to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. However, it was Kim K who brought the treatment into the public eye - after posted a scary selfie of herself smothered in blood.Enquiries about the treatment have risen by a huge 56 per cent since she shared that now-notorious Twitter pic.

Vampire Facial in India

A term afforded by Dr Charles Runels in 2010, Vampire facials have been introduced to the beauty industry by one of the most established and well-known cosmetologist Dr Deepali Bhardwaj. She performs the beauty treatment to make one’s skin supple and smooth at her clinic in Delhi called Skin & Hair Clinic.

Procedure

The treatment includes three steps:

Step 1: Cleansing of the face Step 2: The ‘vampire step’ is one where the cosmetologist injects platelet-rich plasma fibrin matrix concentrate, prepared from blood cells of the one taking the treatment. This preparation takes three to four hours. Step 3: Cleaning of the superficial skin and applying an antibiotic ointment all over the skin.

Safe and precautions Dr Deepali Bhardwaj shares, “It is a completely safe procedure as it comprises of using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) of the one taking taking the treatment. The PRP, which is being injected, does not have any side effect.” However, she suggests a few post treatment care steps to her clients which includes avoiding the sun for the next two hours, not using a strong anti-ageing or de-pigmentation cream for the next 24 hours of the treatment. It is because the PRP injected at the multiple points, which leads to sensitivity of the skin and can react with the external agents.

Frequency of the treatment

One can take the treatment as per the stage of ageing and requirement of rejuvenation. She suggests that a 30 year old lady who is following a regular routine of sunscreen and night cream and has taken the treatment, can get it done after a year or so. However, if the someone much older is to take it, it’s perfectly fine to repeat the procedure.

Market demand The exclusive treatment is gradually picking up and getting a good response in the market. Dr Bhardwaj says, “My patients are generally happy with it as they are mostly botulinum toxin connoisseurs and now they can feel that the amount of units needed has reduced. Hence, they are happy and usually don’t need the procedure for the next 11 to13 months.” Availability and price The actual cost of the procedure is Rs4,000 per ml of PRP. Generally, for laughter lines one needs 3 ml and for frown lines only 1 ml is enough. For a full face procedure, the treatment is priced between Rs25,000 to Rs35,000. “The treatment is available in most of the metro cities across India and I have been doing it since 2012 at my clinic in South Delhi,” adds Dr Bhardwaj.

NOTE : Vampire Facial in UAE specially in Dubai has been banned from the year 2016 approx which used to cost around AED 5,000++
